My 1971 Land Rover. A Series IIA, 109 inch
wheelbase Station wagon, with a six cylinder
engine. Most of that means nothing unless
you are a Rover enthusiast. Since we got it,
we've had the rear axle replaced after a
half-shaft broke and mushroomed in the
differential. I've replaced the master clutch
cylinder, the master brake cylinder, and various
hoses, put in a second row of seats and seatbelts,
and replaced various rusty body panels. We had
an overdrive installed, so are now able to
attain highway speeds.
