More pranks through chemistry
Contributed by: alt.shenanigans
Expense: Low
Number of people: One
Time: Minutes
Materials: An opaque salt/pepper shaker, tissue paper, concentrated lemon juice,
baking soda, tape
Tools: Scissors
A little bit of preperation is neccesary for this one. Take
the top off the shaker, empty out the contents, and fill it about 1/3 full of concentrated
lemon juice. Then, place the tissue paper across the opening, push it down to form a small
indention, and place about a teaspoon of baking soda in the depression. Seal the holes of
the shaker with tape, and replace the top. Trim the excess tissue paper. The victim will
shake lightly at first, then harder, then the top will come flying off in a shower of foam.
WARNING: The top will be moving fast when it first flies off. Make sure the victim
is NOT looking in the holes of the shaker to find out why it's not working. Also, be
willing to spring for another meal for your victim - lemon juice and baking soda will
ruin one real quick.
